Patrice Barakat
Board member
Patrice is one of the most sought-after Choreographers in the country. She is the co-owner of Cutting Edge Dance Center in California. Her students have worked with JoJo Siwa, Nicki Minaj, Meghan Trainor, Coldplay, Matthew Morrison, TYGA, James Corden & More. Patrice choreographed five National Championship Winning routines for the University of Tennessee & 3 National Championship Winning routines for Los Alamitos HS Varsity Song. Her most rewarding accomplishment though is being a mom to her two beautiful daughters, Kayla and JaJa. Patrice is SO thrilled to be on the Board for JoJo’s incredible foundation. She is an advocate for children and is humbled to be part of something so beautifully special.
Joy Tonniges

Joy is honored to join the board in its mission to spread awareness and to provide hope for children battling cancer. A graduate with a BFA in Dance and experience in event planning, Joy has a spark for creativity and a love for glitter & anything that sparkles! As a former dance studio owner in Lincoln, NE, Joy met JoJo as an energetic toddler who captivated everyone’s attention, ready to change the world…and JoJo has done just that! Joy has enjoyed the opportunity to join team JoJo for the last few years assisting wardrobe for music videos, film, and music tours. JoJo’s contagious energy and passion to make a difference in children’s lives is an inspiration to others throughout the world. This is just the beginning. I couldn’t be more proud and more excited to stand with JoJo and support future research and provide financial support for families dealing with childhood cancer.
